I've been getting a lot of questions about the greens in my watercolor palette, so I thought I'd share a full list with you here on the blog. If you've been following me on Instagram, you'll know that I paint a lot of greenery and botanicals, so as you can see, I've accumulated a large collection of green paints.
For my palette set-up, I use a palette with half pans, filled with paints from tubes. As I was re-organizing my paints last week, I actually decided to try something new and separated all my greens into their own palette. I'll report back in a few weeks to tell you how that goes, but for now, I'm really enjoying it. These are the paints that I reach for the most often, so it's been really convenient for me to take this palette out and pop in other pans of colors as I see fit during each painting session. When we see a product, we usually don't think about all goes into creating them. I've sold other things online and have products out there with my designs on them, but my 2018 Watercolor Calendar is the first product that I created from scratch to finish exclusively for my business. Going through this process really opened my eyes to how much time and effort goes into creating a single product, and it really gave me a new appreciation for small business owners who do this day in and day out.
